Current rubber wastewater treatment systems are costly and less sophisticated. One of the potential methods for treating this contaminated water is mycofiltration, which involves passing the waste water through a network of fungal mycelium. Mycelia from fungi have an ability to absorb heavy metals and toxins from rubber effluent especially Ammoniacal Nitrogen content.This project aims to utilize the paddy straw in order to produce the MYcofoam as Biofilter using two types of mycelium species
