Our product has an effective yet simple design, where it utilizes the Arduino Uno microcontroller to act as a processor, responsible for reading the data gathered from the IR sensor. The IR emitter sends light into the tissue, and the IR detector captures the light that was absorbed or reflected, which is then read by the Arduino Uno which gives an estimate blood glucose level, and then displayed onto the screen of a 16x2 LCD.
