Detail

A bandage or adhesive plaster is a medical product used to protect wounds from infection and support the healing process. However, most commercial plasters are made from synthetic plastic materials that are not environmentally friendly and may cause skin irritation. This research aims to develop a natural bandage made from banana pseudostem (gedebog), an agricultural waste that contains high levels of cellulose and natural antibacterial compounds.
