Rangsit University’s petty patent presents a PBM-based phototherapy vest designed to lower blood glucose. By applying 670 nm red light to the Trapezius muscle, the device stimulates mitochondrial metabolism to increase glucose uptake. Clinical trials with 11 volunteers demonstrated that a 20-minute exposure significantly reduced average blood glucose levels by 6.38% (p=0.021), validating its efficacy in mitigating post-meal spikes.
