The study of the machine aimed to: 1) to design and create the machine, 2) to assess its efectiveness, and 3) to evaluate patient satisfaction. Results showed: 1) The stainless steel machine measures 30 cm in width, 80 cm in length, and has an adjustable height of 75-113 cm. 2) Patients did the passive exercises 4 times in 30 mintues with the machine, compared to 5 times with the physiotherapists. 3) Most elderly patients were satisfied, agreeing it met its goals and has commercial potential.
