Detail

This study develops a lead-free shielding material using RSS3 rubber combined with BaSO₄ and biogenic CaCO₃ derived from waste seashells. The natural fillers improve radiation attenuation while keeping the material flexible, lightweight, safe, low-cost, and eco-friendly, offering a sustainable alternative for medical radiation protection.
