This innovation transforms sugarcane leaves and tops—often burned as waste—into biodegradable plant pots using natural starch. The pots support seedlings for 60 days and can be planted directly into soil, where they decompose naturally. The project reduces pollution, adds value to agricultural waste, and creates new income opportunities for the Huay Bong community in Thailand.
