Detail

This study provides the first analysis of the species composition and abundance of potentially toxic microalgae in the coastal waters of Sevastopol. The findings highlight the need to monitor the emergence and development of harmful algae in shellfish farming and harvesting areas. Year-round monitoring of phytotoxin levels will help predict outbreaks and control the quality of seafood farm produce to prevent economic losses.
