CocoBrew upcycles coconut shell chips and spent coffee grounds into porous composite beads that remove Rhodamine B from water. The coffee–coconut biochar provides aromatic carbon for π–π stacking, while the alginate–clay matrix gives strength and porosity. Beads are easy to make, reusable, low-cost, and demonstrate circular green technology for community water protection (SDG 6 & 12).
