Detail

This research investigates the utilization of electrolysis technology employing Ti electrodes coated with ZnO to reduce microplastic contamination in the Progo River, one of Indonesia’s major rivers with high levels of plastic pollution. Electrolysis was conducted with variations in voltage (5–15 V) and duration (30–60 minutes) to determine optimal operating conditions. The highest microplastic reduction efficiency of 73.29% was achieved at 15 V for 60 minutes using Ti ZnO electrodes.
