Polyurethane (PU) is widely used in many industries but is hard to recycle, causing waste problems. This project introduces a green method using Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES) made from choline chloride and urea to degrade PU at low temperature with microwave heating. The process breaks PU into polyols and amines that can be reused to make new materials. This innovation supports circular economy, reduces environmental impact, and promotes sustainable recycling technology.
