During the day, while the children are walking, energy is collected into a USB-form solar patch. In the evening, this USB can be taken home and connected to where light is needed. I believe connecting this USB to a home lamp would be beneficial because many homes in impoverished nations still lack electricity. When the children need to go out, they can simply press a nearby lamp on the shoe (without detaching the USB patch) to emit light, allowing them to walk safely, as the light illuminates.
