Biodegradable transparent lidding film with excellent antifog property was developed by MTEC researchers. It is made from PLA and PBS with optimized antifog additives through multilayer co‑extrusion. This film not only prevents fogging under refrigeration, but also offers high clarity, strength, and biodegradability. It is printable and sealable to both paper and PLA trays; therefore, it is suitable for a wide range of food products, including fresh produce, meat, and ready‑to‑eat meals.
