The innovation relates to the construction of a functional lithium-metal battery through the formation of an artificial interphase layer (artificial SEI- Solid Electrolyte Interphase). Using the drop-cast method, a thin film of a previously prepared electrolyte solution is applied to the surface of the lithium electrode, where it reacts with lithium to form stable artificial SEI layer.
