This project presents a sustainable air-filtration innovation using upcycled Thai corn-husk fibers coated with positively charged silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The NaOH-processed fibers form a porous, mechanically stable filtration matrix capable of high PM2.5 capture. AgNP functionalization (~10 nm) provides strong antibacterial and antifungal activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Aspergillus niger. Filtration tests show 67.6% PM2.5 reduction with 66.7% airflow
