The catch basin allows the storm water to enter the lower port and exits the catch basin at a higher port. A series of these catch basins will ensure a proper flow of storm water in long distances without deepening the canal. The residual water retained in the catch basin will be discharged to the ground through an opening at the bottom floor of the catch basin.This will solve the common problem of localized flooding due to improper draining of storm water
