This innovation introduces a modern architectural decorative material in the form of low-carbon floor and wall tiles. The tiles feature refined artistic qualities and harmonious design, created by upcycling abundant food-industry waste such as eggshells, shrimp shells, crab shells, and seashells. A specialized formulation is developed using these waste materials, which are then processed through a single-layer terrazzo technique for wall tiles and a two-layer terrazzo technique for floor tiles.
