A portable distiller extracts the essential oils of a plant material plants in small amounts by adapting it to any steam producing vessel or pot and could be done almost anywhere. Simply put the portable distiller on top of a pot producing steam and the plant materials are then loaded in a vessel above it to start the distillation process and later the essential oils are collected in a containing vessel by draining the condensed water that came along with the oil.
