This project introduces SignMate, a smart glove that translates sign language into text and speech to assist the hearing and speech-impaired. Using flex sensors and an ESP32 microcontroller, the glove detects gestures, processes data, and sends translations via Bluetooth to a mobile app. SignMate accurately converts basic signs into readable and audible output, offering portability, ease of use, and promoting inclusive communication through assistive technology.
